Le contrôleur financier gère la comptabilité et la production de rapports financiers de l’entreprise, ce qui comprend la supervision des opérations quotidiennes telles que les comptes fournisseurs/clients et la paie, la préparation des états financiers et des budgets, ainsi que le respect des exigences réglementaires. Il est responsable de l’exactitude des données financières, de la gestion des contrôles internes et du traitement de la paie pour le site.
· Appliquer les connaissances comptables et statistiques pour créer et maintenir le détail des coûts et les nomenclatures pour de nombreux SKU dans plusieurs systèmes (le détail des coûts existant étant minimal).
· Créer et maintenir tous les rapports financiers pour le site, incluant les rapports sur les écarts (coût réel vs coût standard), en assurant un suivi précis de la main-d’œuvre, des matières premières, de l’amortissement, des frais généraux, etc. pour plusieurs unités d’affaires sous un même toit.
· Analyser les modifications de conception, de matières premières, des méthodes de fabrication ainsi que des salaires pour en déterminer l’effet sur les coûts de production.
· Fournir des rapports ponctuels à la direction au besoin.
· Vérifier l’exactitude de la valeur des stocks au coût standard (coûts des articles, nomenclatures, routings).
· Préparer le tableau mensuel d’évaluation des stocks et rapprocher les comptes de stocks au grand livre.
· Participer à l’amélioration des contrôles internes dans l’établissement (achats, inventaire, etc.).
· Calculer les taux annuels de main-d’œuvre et de frais généraux et expliquer les fluctuations par rapport aux périodes antérieures.
· Surveiller les transactions d’inventaire, travailler avec les Opérations pour éliminer les erreurs récurrentes.
· Élaborer les rapports mensuels d’inventaire et d’analyse des écarts.
· Élaborer l’analyse mensuelle du coût des marchandises vendues (COGS) et de la marge brute.
· Effectuer les mises à jour des coûts actuels et des coûts standards tout au long de l’année et annuellement.
· Créer/gérer les rapports opérationnels hebdomadaires, ce qui inclut la préparation des fichiers, l’identification des écarts de fabrication et l’aide aux parties prenantes pour comprendre leurs données.
· Analyser les écarts de fabrication par rapport au coût standard et rendre compte de l’impact de ces écarts (projeté et historique).
· Participer aux audits annuels, internes et externes, selon les besoins.
· Préparer les écritures de journal mensuelles au besoin.
· Participer à des projets spéciaux au besoin ; effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.
· Enquêter sur les ajustements d’inventaire, travailler avec les Opérations pour éliminer les erreurs récurrentes.

Qualifications et compétencesExpérience

The SR Analyst manages a company's accounting and financial reporting, which includes overseeing daily operations like accounts payable/receivable and payroll, preparing financial statements and budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They are responsible for the accuracy of financial data, managing internal controls, and processing payroll for the location.
· Apply accounting and statistical knowledge to create and maintain costing detail and bill of materials for many SKUs across several systems (existing cost detail is minimal).
· Create and maintain all financial reporting for the location, including variance reporting (actual cost vs. standard cost), accurately tracking labor, raw materials, depreciation, overhead, etc. across multiple business units within the same facility.
· Analyze changes in design, raw materials, manufacturing methods as well as salaries to determine their effect on Production Costs.
· Provided management with ad hoc reporting when necessary.
· Verify accuracy of inventory value at standard cost (Items Costs, Bills of Materials, Routings).
· Prepare the monthly inventory valuation schedule and reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger.
· Assist in the improvement of internal controls throughout the facility (purchasing, inventory, etc.).
· Calculate annual labor and overhead rates and explain fluctuations from prior periods.
· Monitor inventory transactions, work with Operations to eliminate recurring errors.
· Develop monthly inventory reports and variance analysis.
· Develop monthly COGS and gross margin analysis.
· Perform current cost roll-up and standard cost updates throughout the year and annually.
· Create/manage weekly operations reporting, which includes preparing the files, identifying manufacturing variances and helping stakeholders to understand their data.
· Analyze manufacturing variances from standard cost and report on the impact of those variances (both projected and historical).
· Assist in the annual audits, both internal and external as required.
· Preparing monthly journal entries as needed:
· Special projects as required; all other duties as assigned.
· Investigate inventory adjustments, work with Operations to eliminate recurring errors
· Assist in Finance duties at other locations as assigned
· Processing Bi-Weekly Payroll for location
· Assist with employee enquiries related to payroll and insurance

Qualifications and skills
Experience
- Relevant experience: 3–5 years of similar experience in a controller position or cost accounting
- CPA Preferred
- Strong communication skills in French & English
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Experience with Oracle, Payworks preferred
· Strong communication, attention to detail, time management
