Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
  • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises.
  • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining order among visitors and staff.
  • Assist in conflict management situations, de-escalating tensions when necessary.
  • Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
  • Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
