Full job description

Optometrist - Full-time - Full Scope Medical Private Practice- Goderich, ON ( No Weekends)

  • Upcoming graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply!

Our full-scope medical practice focuses on providing friendly, professional eye care to every patient by using modern technology to diagnose, examine, and preserve ocular and visual health. We enhance your visual experience through personal frame styling and customized lens selection by offering fashionable eyewear and high-quality products. We are looking for a Full-Time Optometrist to join the practice!

What You’ll Need:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
  • Valid license to practice optometry (or pending)
  • Our ideal candidate is driven and provides great patient care to all patients, enjoys working with people from all walks of life, and has an interest in ocular disease!

Why Work Here?

Exposure:
You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full-scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. We really take care of all patients and not just primary care. As an OD in our practice, you are only doing eye exams without having to worry about sales–the staff is already well-trained to pick up sales from OD recommendations on lenses and frame types.

Environment: Our new OD will always have a robust team supporting them every day. There is one other OD at the practice currently and multi exam lanes. The ODs will have dedicated optometric assistants to handle all the pre-testing. Likewise, you will have everything you need to be successful with our state-of-the-art technology, including all the pre-testing equipment, OCT, tonometer, humphreys visual field, lipscan, autophorphter and everything you need to practice full-scope care!

Schedule: We value work-life balance - which means our schedule has no weekends and no nights! We are very flexible with our scheduling, however, so if our new OD would like an earlier morning we can accommodate that! We schedule the 2 full exams per hour with some partial 15 minute exams scheduled for some hours. Our focus is to give patients full-quality care!

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, benefits that include pharmacy and dental, holiday long weekends and a corporate cell phone plan.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career, apply today through Eyes On Eyecare®!
