We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join an interdisciplinary, school-based team providing specialized school psychology services to First Nations schools across Manitoba. This role supports student participation and access to learning through assessment, programming, therapeutic intervention, and consultation within a three-tiered service delivery model.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master of Arts, Science, or Education in School, Child, or Clinical Psychology
- Eligible for or holding Manitoba Education certification as a School Clinician in School Psychology
- Active registration with the Psychological Association of Manitoba is an asset
- Completion of formal training in Psycho-Educational assessments
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and access to an insured vehicle
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, Inclusive Education practices and Manitoba curriculum frameworks
- Strong intercultural communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel to rural and remote First Nations communities
- Experience working in First Nations education settings and/or fluency in a First Nations language is an asset
