We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join an interdisciplinary, school-based team providing specialized school psychology services to First Nations schools across Manitoba. This role supports student participation and access to learning through assessment, programming, therapeutic intervention, and consultation within a three-tiered service delivery model.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master of Arts, Science, or Education in School, Child, or Clinical Psychology
  • Eligible for or holding Manitoba Education certification as a School Clinician in School Psychology
  • Active registration with the Psychological Association of Manitoba is an asset
  • Completion of formal training in Psycho-Educational assessments
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and access to an insured vehicle
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Inclusive Education practices and Manitoba curriculum frameworks
  • Strong intercultural communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Willingness to travel to rural and remote First Nations communities
  • Experience working in First Nations education settings and/or fluency in a First Nations language is an asset
