Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. This role is essential in shaping the minds of young learners and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong commitment to educational excellence. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students in various subjects, including Math, while also providing support for special education needs.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Educate students in a classroom setting, ensuring that all learning styles are accommodated.
  • Utilize technology and computer software (including Word and Excel) to enhance the learning experience.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and leadership.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods as required.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.

Skills

  • Strong educational background with a focus on teaching methodologies.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Word and Excel, to facilitate lesson planning and communication.
  • Ability to teach Math effectively, adapting lessons to meet diverse student needs.
  • Leadership skills to guide students in their academic journey and foster teamwork within the classroom.
  • Knowledge of special education practices to support all learners effectively.
  • Familiarity with foreign language instruction, such as French, is a plus but not required.
