Behaviour Consultant (BCBA / Behaviour Specialist)
KIN Integrated Child Health – Edmonton, AB
Help children thrive. Empower families. Work alongside an integrated team.
KIN Integrated Child Health is a growing interdisciplinary clinic in southwest Edmonton dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through collaborative, evidence-based care. Our team includes psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, nurse practitioners, and behaviour consultants who work together to provide comprehensive, family-centred care.
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Behaviour Consultant to join our team on a contractor basis.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Consultant, you’ll work with children and youth presenting with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, behavioural challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and other neurodevelopmental needs. You’ll collaborate closely with families, schools, and our interdisciplinary team to create meaningful, practical, and lasting change.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct behavioural, functional, and developmental assessments.
- Develop individualized behaviour support plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide parent coaching and caregiver education.
- Collaborate with schools, educators, physicians, and community agencies.
- Monitor client progress and adjust intervention plans using data-informed decision making.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nurse practitioners.
- Complete professional documentation, reports, and recommendations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation as appropriate.
We’re Looking For
- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or Behaviour Consultant with relevant experience.
- Eligible to practice in Alberta.
- Experience supporting children and youth with autism and other developmental or behavioural needs.
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Passion for collaborative, family-centred care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer
- Flexible contractor schedule (part-time or full-time opportunities).
- Competitive contractor compensation.
- Beautiful new interdisciplinary clinic in southwest Edmonton.
- Consistent referral opportunities and administrative support.
- Hybrid (work from home and office)
- Collaborative team environment with regular case consultation.
- Modern assessment and therapy spaces.
- Opportunities to help shape and grow an innovative child health clinic.
- Professional autonomy with strong clinical collaboration.
Why KIN Integrated Child Health?
At KIN, we believe children achieve the best outcomes when professionals work together—not in silos. Our integrated model allows behaviour consultants to collaborate directly with psychology, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and primary care, ensuring families receive coordinated, comprehensive support in one place.
If you’re passionate about helping children reach their full potential while working within a supportive interdisciplinary team, we’d love to hear from you.
