SCHOOL COUNSELLOR (Temporary Assignments)
School District No.43 (Coquitlam) is the third largest school district in BC with approximately 4,400 employees and 32,000 students in 70 schools. We serve the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and the villages of Anmore and Belcarra. Our six-year completion rates are well above the provincial average and some of the highest in BC. Overall, we are #1 in the Metro Vancouver region and #2 in BC. Coquitlam School District is accepting applications from candidates for the position of a School Counsellor. This position is intended to fill temporary and continuing vacancies for the upcoming school year.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Successful applicants will possess the appropriate education, training and or experience.
- Relevant teaching experience
- Masters degree in counselling or counselling psychology, with a completed, supervised practicum.
- Certification with the British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch

- We require two teach administrator references (principal/vice principal or equivalent) and one must be from your current/most recent position.
