Full job description

*This is for a new position*

Overview

The School Age Program Facilitator plans, implements and participates in the development of programs to enhance the children’s development in all domains in accordance with program philosophies and legislative requirements. Regular and ongoing communication and consultation with the School Age Supervisor, co-workers and families is key. The Facilitator provides a safe and emotionally supportive environment and performs all administrative tasks including on-site licensing of the program.

Hours:

This position requires availability for a split shift both before AND after school

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 6:45am-9:05am and 3:10pm-5:30pm
  • Prep time, Set-up/Tear down and cleaning time on top of program hours
  • Full days on PD days, March break and during the summer.

Qualifications:

  • ECE diploma and registration with the College of ECE's (preferred)
  • CYW, Rec & Leisure, BEd, Child and Family Studies graduates also considered
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Current Food Handler Certificate
  • Clean criminal reference check with vulnerable persons screening
  • New graduates welcome!
