Job Summary

Baxter Antoniazzi and Associates is a busy, well-established psychology practice in Hamilton Ontario. We provide psychological assessment and treatment services with a focus on helping people who have suffered physical or psychological injury as a result of a work-place incident, a motor vehicle collision, or service in the armed forces.

We are looking for an accounts receivable manager who is also able to assume some administrative responsibilities. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with additional days required on occasion for vacation coverage. You would be working in-office with clinicians and other support staff in a collegial environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accounting

  • Generating invoices
  • Verifying invoiced amounts and submitting for payment
  • Entering payments into practice management software
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Generating accounting reports
  • Following up on outstanding accounts

Office Administration Coverage

  • Reception – greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments
  • Processing new referrals

Qualifications

  • Account management experience
  • Good organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with staff, insurance companies, and patients
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience working in a clinical office and/or experience working with WSIB, Veteran’s Affairs or the auto insurance industry would be an asset

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21.5 per week

Work Location: In person
