Vū Café | Studio — Trinity Bellwoods / Dundas West
Vū Café | Studio is looking for a reliable weekend kitchen support person to help with prep, service setup, cleaning, restocking, and smooth café operations.
This is a practical hands-on role. The main focus is food prep and kitchen support, with light beverage or guest-service support when needed.
Responsibilities
- Support daily prep, portioning, labeling, and storage
- Keep prep areas clean, organized, and food-safe
- Help receive, rotate, and restock ingredients
- Support plating/assembly during service
- Wash, reset, and maintain smallwares and workstations
- Follow recipes, prep lists, and food-safety standards
- Support beverage/FOH only when needed
Requirements
- Weekend availability is required
- Food prep or café/kitchen experience preferred
- Food Handler Certificate preferred
- Reliable, clean, organized, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable taking direction and following systems
- Able to work on-site at 844 Dundas St W
Role details
- Part-time weekend role
- Saturday/Sunday availability preferred
- Rate: $18.50–$20/hour depending on experience
- Start: immediate / training shifts available
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
