Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Professional Cleaner/Housekeeper within Shelburne County. You will be an integral part of a generous and supportive team, responsible for maintaining our high standards of sanitation and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Residential & Deep Cleaning: Executing detailed cleaning plans (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing) for private homes.
• Airbnb/Rental Turnover: Managing strict checkout windows, changing linens, restocking amenities, and inspecting properties for damage or missing items to ensure 5-star guest experiences.
• Move-In/Move-Out: Performing intensive deep cleans to prepare properties for new tenants or owners.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols, using professional-grade equipment, and handling chemicals safely in accordance with WHMIS standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory: A clear Criminal Record Check.
• Mandatory: Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (travel to various job sites across the South Shore is required).
• Mandatory: WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hiring).
• Experience: Previous experience in professional housekeeping or hotel management is a strong asset, though we provide training to meet our specific standards.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling and checklists (e.g., When I Work).
• Physical Capabilities: Must have the stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work actively for full shifts.
• Soft Skills: Extreme attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team without constant supervision.
