Position Title: Office Administrator
Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)
Starting Minimum: $19.00/hour
Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager or designate, the Office Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations and seamless communications. This role involves managing order details, providing exceptional customer service, communication, organization and support to other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting walk-in customers and responding to customer emails.
  • Coordinating warehouse releases and managing freight logistics.
  • Scanning and maintaining organized filing system for documents.
  • Providing necessary reports and assisting with balancing inventory.
  • Preparing paperwork for shipping processes and any necessary scheduling.
  • Ordering non-product items as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate entry and completion of all orders with complete details.
  • Promptly notifying relevant personnel of any shortages or delays.
  • Inputting credits and contracts accurately into the system.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the office space.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Customer service experience and the ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with customer-related issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications is required.
  • Strong attention to detail including high level of accuracy and speed with data entry.
  • Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable would be considered an asset.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
