Our team is passionate about cars, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Product Specialist to join our growing dealership. Position Overview: As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for educating and assisting customers in selecting the perfect vehicle based on their needs, preferences, and budget. Your expertise in product features, performance, and specifications will allow you to create memorable and informative experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers in the dealership showroom or online, providing a professional and informative experience.
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of vehicles, including performance, safety features, technology, and options.
  • Assist customers in narrowing down vehicle choices by asking questions, listening to their needs, and offering expert recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on the latest models, features, and promotions to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the buying journey.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support the sales team with product knowledge during customer presentations and test drives.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor vehicles and industry trends to better assist customers.
  • Assist with inventory management and vehicle presentations on the showroom floor.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for cars and the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred (automotive sales or product specialist experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse range of customers.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Chrysler and Ford vehicles is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
