About Electric Avenue

Electric Avenue is a Canadian electric vehicle charging company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We provide EV charging solutions for commercial, industrial, residential and fleet applications across North America.

We are growing quickly and are looking for a highly organized, bilingual customer and sales support professional to help our distributors, sales representatives and customers get fast, accurate information.

This is a customer-facing role focused on communication, quoting, order status, stock availability and sales support. It is not a technical troubleshooting role.

About the Role

The Bilingual Customer & Sales Support Coordinator will support Electric Avenue’s distributors, third-party sales representatives and customers across Canada, including English and French-speaking markets.

You will be responsible for handling day-to-day commercial inquiries, including order status, stock availability, lead times, product availability, quotations, pricing and general support.

You will work closely with sales, operations and leadership to make sure customers and sales reps receive accurate, timely information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer, distributor and sales representative inquiries by phone and email
  • Support both English and French-speaking customers, including customers in Quebec
  • Prepare formal quotations using standard pricing and approved discount structures
  • Maintain and reference price lists
  • Provide information on stock availability, lead times, product availability and order status
  • Send product information, spec sheets and supporting documents to sales reps and distributors
  • Follow up on open orders and customer inquiries
  • Coordinate with operations and purchasing to confirm lead times and availability
  • Manage general inbox activity and ensure inquiries are closed or routed properly
  • Use systems such as HubSpot, Zendesk, Asana, AWS Connect, Cin7 and email tools
  • Maintain accurate customer and inquiry records
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal team

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 days, you should be able to:

  • Handle approximately 50% of the role independently
  • Respond to standard customer and sales rep inquiries without support
  • Create simple quotations using approved pricing
  • Provide accurate information on stock, pricing and order status
  • Build trust with distributors and sales reps through responsiveness and professionalism

  • Quote turnaround time
  • Order inquiry resolution
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Accuracy of information provided
  • Number of open inquiries closed
  • Quality of communication in both English and French

Required Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and French, written and spoken
  • Strong customer service or sales support experience
  • Experience preparing quotes, responding to customer inquiries or supporting B2B sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with pricing, order status, stock availability and lead times
  • Organized and able to manage multiple requests at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced small business environment
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, help desk or order management systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting distributors, wholesale customers or third-party sales reps
  • Experience with B2B distribution or wholesale pricing
  • Experience using HubSpot, Zendesk, Cin7, QBO, Asana or similar tools
  • Experience in electrical, construction, technology, EV charging or clean energy industries
