Join Our Team
Northern Mat & Bridge is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Coordinator in Quebec to support our growing sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating sales activities, maintaining project and customer information, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the customer journey.
Working closely with Sales, Operations, and customers, you'll help drive business growth by managing critical administrative processes, tracking opportunities, supporting forecasting activities, and ensuring projects move seamlessly from opportunity to completion.

What You'll Be Doing
Sales Coordination & Administration

  • Maintain project records, job registries, and master data within company systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare estimates, quotations, and supporting documentation for customer requests and sales opportunities.
  • Monitor bidding platforms and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and administer change orders and project-related documentation.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of trade shows, industry events, travel, and registrations.
  • Support onboarding, training, and administrative needs for the sales team.
  • Participate in special projects and other related initiatives as required.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Track estimates, bids, tenders, and sales opportunities to support timely follow-up and visibility.
  • Support forecasting and business planning through reporting and data analysis.
  • Conduct market research and monitor customer, competitor, and industry trends.
  • Compile and summarize sales data and weekly business updates for leadership reporting.

Customer Account Support

  • Coordinate customer account administration, including credit applications, account setup, deposits, and billing support.
  • Assist customers with project documentation, contract requirements, and change order administration.
  • Support Sales Representatives in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Identify new opportunities, plan takers, and leads to support business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and project information remains accurate.

What You'll Bring
Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in sales support, administration, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Administration, Sales, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
  • Experience within the construction, matting, bridge, industrial, or related industries is considered a strong asset.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report on data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
