Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales of CGC Group HVAC products and managing assigned sales regions within the North American market, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Key focus areas include business development, sales execution, customer management, market positioning, strategic planning, pricing, channel development, customer engagement, forecasting, and performance tracking. This role plays a pivotal part in expanding market share and launching new business segments from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to implement channel development initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

This position requires regular travel (approx. 30 %) to or within the Southern & Western U.S.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Be the segment expert and knowledge source of industry trends, regulatory issues, competition moves, pricing and other marketing intelligence/analysis; analyze and share customer insights and market requirements across product categories
  • Drives revenue growth with existing and prospective customers to achieve sales & profit objectives
  • Achieving targeted revenues, price, and quantity
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals for the area of responsibility and projecting expected sales revenue for existing and new clients
  • Align sales and business development planning across the organizational matrix identify opportunities for new market growth; develop and implement regional sales strategies
  • Coordinate with Engineering the necessary product specification improvements to meet the requirements of markets across North America
  • Provide routine booking and shipments forecast and track key account performance metrics
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key contacts and accounts building long-term relationships
  • Develop and implement long-term sales strategy to increase sales and drive profitability
  • Meet regularly with all stakeholders to identify long-term and short-term needs and develop a plan to deliver key metrics
  • Engages in industry associations and events to stay abreast of industry trends to understand account needs and positioning
  • Coordinates the involvement of company team members, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales and strategic objectives. Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Follows all processes and procedures in place and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Adherence to corporate compliance expectations and an understanding of all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the HVAC market

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • HVAC industry experience is required (preferably in WSHP commercial markets)
  • Proven track record driving sales growth and expanding markets
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and task leadership skills
