About the Role: As a CBRE Senior Network and Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design, delivery, and operational excellence of building-level IT and OT networks across the portfolio. This role shapes network and security architecture for an expanding PropTech environment, influencing how emerging real estate technologies are deployed securely and at scale. What You’ll Do: • Lead planning, delivery, and operationalization of network upgrades spanning switching, wireless, and firewall ecosystems. • Design resilient, need-based network topologies with capable segmentation to isolate OT and IT traffic appropriately. • Partner with regional OT teams to architect secure, consistent deployments of building-level technologies including HVAC, elevator systems, lighting controls, and parking systems. • Conduct regular network audits across properties to verify that standards and protocols are maintained. • Monitor, review, and action tickets and change requests with internal teams and third-party providers, adhering to established SLAs. • Provide hands-on and remote support for new network and security deployments. • Participate in after-hours support and troubleshooting to maintain business continuity. • Create and maintain accurate network documentation including IP schemes, topology diagrams, and asset inventory. • Work with regional IT teams, property managers, and third-party vendors to collect and consolidate network and OT equipment documentation. • Review existing infrastructure documentation and assess current network and security posture. • Communicate status updates clearly and on time to team members, management, and internal and external customers. • Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity team to remediate vulnerabilities across network infrastructure. • Evaluate and implement advanced technologies for network automation and proactive monitoring to increase productivity. • CCNP and NSE4 certifications are mandatory. Candidates willing to complete both within three months of start date will be considered. NSE7 is strongly preferred. • Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. • Work within broad guidelines and policies. • Explain difficult or sensitive information. What You’ll Need: • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. • CCNP and NSE4 certifications are mandatory. Candidates willing to complete both within three months of start date will be considered. NSE7 is strongly preferred. • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior OT Network and Security Engineer position is $110,000 annually [or $52.89 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Senior OT Network and Security Engineer position is $120,000 annually [or $57.70 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
