Full job description

Join the Park Opportunity Garden

At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.

The "Opportunity Garden" Framework

We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:

  • NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.
  • GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.
  • THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.

The Role: Crew Member, Grounds Management

While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the expertise. In this role, you will be the primary architect of landscape health, appearance, and safety standards across residential and commercial properties.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Horticultural Excellence: Perform professional lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, aeration) and garden care, including the installation and pruning of annuals, shrubs, and trees.
  • Equipment Mastery: Safely operate and maintain a variety of landscape tools, from zero-turn mowers and blowers to digital asset tracking systems.
  • Seasonal Versatility: Drive property transformations through spring/fall clean-ups and transition into essential snow and ice management during winter months.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with horticultural care, site-specific hazard assessments, and OH&S regulations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating commercial landscape equipment and using digital tools (e.g., Aspire, Site Docs) for time and safety tracking.
  • Abilities: The physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for eight hours in varying weather, and a "Can-Do" attitude within a fast-paced team.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Your total rewards package is designed to support your financial well-being and daily success:

  • Competitive Hourly Wage: Based on experience.

  • Predictable Paychecks: Through our Alberta Individual Overtime Agreement, we bank your busy-season extra hours to top up your pay during rain delays or seasonal shifts.

  • Health & Dental Benefits: Access to our comprehensive group benefits plan.

  • RRSP Matching Program: A company-matched contribution plan to support your long-term financial goals.

  • Incentives: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and incentive programs offered at the Company’s sole discretion.

  • Tools for Success: High-quality gear, specialized machinery, and resources provided to ensure you can work safely and efficiently.

Ready to Branch Out? Your Future Starts Here

At Park, we don’t just hire—we plant the seeds for long-term success. If you’re looking for a workplace where your "Can-Do" attitude is rewarded with real opportunity, you’ve found it.

When you join our garden, you’re gaining:

  • Visible Career Paths: Clear milestones for rapid advancement, regular check-ins, and structured raises.

  • Investment in Learning: Dedicated resources for training, licenses, and certifications to keep you at the forefront of the industry.

  • Innovative Tools: The latest technology and machinery to make your work smoother, smarter, and safer.

  • Impactful Work: True pride in the physical transformation of our community.

  • A Culture of Respect: A supportive, high-trust team environment that respects your autonomy and creativity.

Park Landscaping Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive "Opportunity Garden" for all employees.
