Full job description

STS Group, a provider of Occupational Health and Safety Consulting and Training services is looking for a Junior Health & Safety Coordinator/Trainer. This position offers the right individual the opportunity for significant career advancement within the STS Group and the health and safety industry.

Training will be provided to the ideal candidate in the preparation and delivery of various H & S programs. Some of the programs include but are not limited to the following:

  • Health and Safety Management System - COR/ISO etc.
  • Health and Safety Manual, Practices and Procedures, Employee Safety Handbooks
  • Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessments etc.
  • WSIB Health & Safety Excellence Program
  • Working at Heights
  • Standard First Aid/CPR/AED
  • Traffic Control

Education: A Degree or Diploma from a recognized Canadian College or University .

Candidate must have :

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of provincial health and safety laws/regulations
  • Good computer skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
