Full job description

Are you looking for flexible work options, supplemental income, and the opportunity to travel? Irwin’s Safety delivers a broad range of safety services across Canada, supporting clients in industry, government, and First Nations communities. Our Advisory Services division provides safety advisors and coordinators on a project-by-project basis, and we are looking for experienced Construction Safety Officers to support this work.

This is casual, project-based work best suited for independent safety advisors, semi-retired safety officers, or those with flexible availability for multi-day deployments.

Qualifications:.

  • 2+ years experience in construction industry as skilled trade, or a jobsite safety role
  • NCSO, provincial CSO certification, or a similar recognized safety designation.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations, hazard identification, inspections, incident investigation, and safe work procedures.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and record keeping skills
  • The ability to train workers and respond to incidents

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid CSO or NCSO certificate
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years CSO experience

Pay: $31.50-$35.00 per hour
