Job Summary

Must have experience in Operations in Software.

Our client is looking for a high-impact Director of Operations in the Software Industry to drive organizational excellence and scale our business functions. You will be a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring that our internal systems, workflows, and cross-departmental collaborations are optimized for rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Planning: Collaborate with the CEO/Executive team to set and drive the organizational vision, long-term operational plans, and performance goals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the "strategic integrator" between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure the company vision is carried out daily.
  • Financial & Budgetary Management: Oversee operational budgets, coordinate with finance on forecasting, and manage procurement and resource allocation to promote profitability.
  • Process Engineering: Design and implement scalable standard operating procedures (SOPs) for non-technical functions such as client onboarding, order processing, and invoicing.
  • Business Intelligence: Analyze and interpret key operational metrics (KPIs) to evaluate organizational health and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Team & Culture Leadership: Lead and mentor department heads, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports employee retention and productivity.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within a SaaS, FinTech, or high-growth tech environment.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of diverse business functions including Finance, HR, Sales Ops, and Customer Experience.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional critical thinking skills with a proven ability to manage complex interdepartmental projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of business management tools such as ERPs, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and data analysis software.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
