  • Strong experience with data engineering and analytics languages (PySpark, SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, Azure SQL), PowerShell scripting, and ETL/ELT processes (SSIS).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL.
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub) to support repeatable deployments.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture, including medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), dimensional and semantic data models, and data governance practices.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, semantic modeling, and reporting (Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across distributed data platforms.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and confidently interact with senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly adaptable, with a passion for learning and evolving alongside emerging technologies such as Microsoft Fabric and AI.
  • Experience with data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is an asset.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
