Our client operates across diverse business streams, including the construction of post-frame buildings across Western Canada, manufacturing, and supplying building material packages. Operating across both high-velocity Consumer (B2C) and high-touch B2B markets, the organization requires a driven, autonomous Marketing Communications Manager to bridge executive vision and day-to-day execution.

This role requires a balance of strategic campaign planning, team traffic control, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate possesses the organizational grit to manage up, establish clear project priorities, drive consumer digital growth, and ensure high-quality sales enablement tools for our B2B accounts.

- Direct Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the 3-person marketing execution team (Graphic/Brand Designer, Social Media Specialist, Marketing Coordinator).
- Traffic Control & Prioritization: Act as the operational hub for all marketing requests—managing team capacity, establishing project queues, and setting deadlines across both Consumer campaigns and B2B support.
- Executive Partnering: Collaborate directly with the CEO to translate commercial vision into structured marketing strategies without requiring daily hand-holding.
- Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and analyze promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and direct customer email communications (EDMs) to drive lead generation.
- Digital Channel Management: Oversee content strategy and brand consistency across corporate websites, landing pages, digital advertising channels, and social media platforms.
- Market Analysis: Monitor campaign analytics, digital acquisition metrics, and customer engagement to optimize ROI and conversion.
- Sales Collateral: Direct the development of high-end B2B sales tools, custom proposal templates, presentation decks, technical spec sheets, and print collateral.
- Brand Standards: Maintain and enforce brand guidelines and visual identity across all internal and external touchpoints.
- Swag & Vendor Management: Oversee corporate merchandise/swag procurement, print production vendors, and digital agency partners.
- Events & Networking Support: Coordinate with various stakeholders supporting corporate social events, networking initiatives, and client appreciation functions.
- Sponsorships & Awards: Manage corporate community investments, sponsorships, and industry award submissions to elevate company visibility in core markets.
- Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in a marketing, communications, or brand management function.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience managing, mentoring, or leading creative/marketing personnel.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Multi-Channel Expertise: Proven track record supporting both promotional/consumer-driven marketing and B2B corporate sales support.
- Managerial Autonomy & Grit: Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage up, set firm boundaries on team capacity, and drive projects independently.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational agility, deadline management, and attention to detail when juggling multiple priorities.
- Communication Skills: Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for interacting with executive leadership, internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Digital Proficiency: Solid understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, content strategy, email marketing platforms, and performance tracking (Google Analytics, SEO, Paid Ads).
- Creative Aptitude: Strong working knowledge of graphic design standards, video production workflows, and social media execution.
