This position has primary responsibility for performing a variety of tasks that assist the Clinic Supervisor in providing clients with high-quality treatment and students with a quality learning experience within a clinical setting.


Key Accountabilities (key duties & desired outcomes):

  • Manage and monitor the full student funding lifecycle, including application, approval, and disbursement stages.
  • Provide clear visibility into funding status to support timely decision-making and reduce delays
  • Validate funding applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Track and follow up on outstanding funding requirements to support approvals and minimize risk
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Student Advisory Services (SAS), and Finance to align funding status with enrollment and student account handling
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready records in compliance with Student Aid requirements and institutional policies
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, delays, or risks related to funding and student status
  • Support reporting, data tracking, and process improvements related to student funding and receivables
  • Communicate funding updates, issues, and required actions clearly to internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in post-secondary administration, student finance, or financial aid operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, particularly in financial and compliance-related data.
  • Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., reconciliation, tracking, reporting)
  • Working knowledge of provincial and/or federal Student Aid programs (e.g., Alberta Student Aid, StudentAid BC) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey funding status, risks, and requirements clearly to both students and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or regulated processes is considered an asset.
