Contract and Working Arrangements

• Contract: 12 months, with possibility of extension
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Location/Timezone: Regional hub aligned to Montreal/North America timezone coverage
• Programme Phase: Cutover through hypercare
• Primary Focus: Regional SAP S/4HANA cutover command, technical decision support, and execution leadership

Role Overview

Lead regional SAP S/4HANA technical cutover execution, ensuring all activities, dependencies, decisions, risks, and recovery actions are effectively managed from cutover through go-live and hypercare stabilization.

Why This Role Matters

This role is critical to the successful delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will provide regional cutover leadership, coordinate cross-functional technical teams, and ensure a controlled, secure, and stable transition into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the regional SAP S/4HANA technical cutover plan, including task readiness, sequencing, dependencies, and execution status.
• Lead cutover command routines, issue triage, decision-making, escalation, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate across Security, BASIS/BTP, Integration, QA, PMO, vendors, SMEs, and Operations.
• Confirm readiness of access, environments, integrations, monitoring, validation, and support coverage.
• Identify and manage regional cutover risks and issues, including impact assessment, recovery options, and recommended actions.
• Provide regular cutover status updates covering progress, issues, blockers, decisions, and next steps.
• Ensure effective transition from cutover and go-live into hypercare, including ownership of open issues and residual risks.

Key Deliverables

• Regional technical cutover plan, dependency map, and readiness checklist.
• Cutover command runbook covering routines, roles, escalation paths, and decision points.
• Intra-day cutover status updates, including issues, blockers, decisions, and next actions.
• Hypercare handover pack covering outstanding issues, owners, stabilization criteria, support model, and residual risks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA technical cutover or command-center activities within large-scale ERP transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BTP, integrations, security/access, environments, and third-party dependencies.
• Demonstrated ability to make structured decisions and recommendations in high-pressure go-live environments.
• Strong planning, dependency, risk, issue, escalation, and decision-management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Bilingual in French and English is required; Spanish fluency is an advantage.

Success Criteria

• Regional cutover activities are fully baselined, sequenced, assigned, tracked, and supported by appropriate evidence.
• Cutover issues and risks are clearly documented, prioritized, and escalated through agreed governance channels.
• Go-live activities are executed in a controlled manner with effective communication and decision-making.
• Hypercare transition is completed with clear ownership of outstanding issues, stabilization activities, and residual risks.

Pay: $110.00 per hour
