Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operation of our tire distributorship. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as order pickers and forklifts to move products within the warehouse.
  • Perform order picking tasks, accurately selecting items for shipment based on customer orders.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against packing lists.
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse distribution area to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and physical labour as required by the demands of the job.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with equipment operation, including tele-handlers, order pickers and forklifts, is a plus.
  • Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 60 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Experience with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and effective inventory tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
