Duties:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications
- Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Clean machines, tooling, and parts

Skills:
- Proficient in operating manual and computer-controlled machinery
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred

This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate must also have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
