Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks responsible for hauling and disposing of waste and recyclable materials.

Our Brand new fleet of peterbilt Hook Lift trucks with automatic tarpers, Are game changers compared to the typical fleets you see on the road today. Much easier to operate compared to conventional style cable pull and tower pull tarper systems. This is a less physical and safer approach to roll off duties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service, ensuring timely collection and proper handling of loads. This role requires physical strength, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Safely operate roll-off trucks to collect and transport waste or recyclable materials from various locations.
  • Load and unload materials using hydraulic systems, ensuring secure and efficient handling.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and mileage as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules or any issues encountered.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

  • Proven experience in driving heavy trucks, preferably roll-off or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of loading or unloading operations.
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Good physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks associated with loading/unloading.
  • Strong attention to detail for record keeping and safety checks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and safety standards.

Pay: $40.00 per hour
