Our Vancouver Team is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer/E.I.T. that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems.

About the Role

Our Vancouver Team is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer/E.I.T. that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience and expertise in the field of mechanical engineering to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders. Your day to day will include:

  • Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projects
  • Analyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications
  • Participate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects
  • Participate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects
  • Participate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by others
  • Assist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycle

About You

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design
  • Registered with EGBC or eligible for Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) registration
  • Experience or familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Ability to travel to the US
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
