Position Summary

The 2026 Seasonal Food & Beverage Server position at Stone Peak Restaurant offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a destination restaurant in a world-class mountain setting. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest service, thrive in a polished dining environment, and take pride in creating memorable experiences for restaurant guests as well as those attending weddings, retreats, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and serve guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately while offering knowledgeable menu recommendations
  • Deliver an elevated service experience
  • Provide professional service during weddings, retreats, banquets, and special events
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
  • Ensure the dining area, banquet spaces, and service areas remain clean, organized, and inviting
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide seamless service
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Communicate clearly with guests and Kitchen regarding dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests, ensuring safe and accurate service
  • Support catering and event operations during peak periods

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a destination, fine dining, or casual fine dining restaurant
  • Strong customer service and guest engagement skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-standard service environment
  • Working knowledge of food safety and service standards
  • ProServe certification or equivalent is required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Banquet and event serving experience, including weddings and retreats, is a strong asset
  • Catering or event service experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of common food allergies and dietary accommodations is preferred
  • Hospitality or food & beverage background preferred
  • Seasonal resort experience is considered an asset

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to commit to a seasonal contract
  • Flexible in scheduling to meet business levels
  • Highly self-motivated, with a can-do attitude that is willing to achieve excellence

  • Able to work in an organized and efficient manner while adhering to high-quality standards
