Harrison Industrial Contracting Ltd. is a fast-growing electrical and civil construction company based out of Kamloops, BC. We are seeking energetic and driven individuals to join our team for an exciting long-term career opportunity.

This position is responsible for working with our civil team on a variety of customer sites performing various activities associated with construction and utility work. These positions entail local work as well as occasional out of town work.

You have a 'can do keener' attitude and are always willing to learn. You are a bright, ambitious, honest and straight forward professional. Your personable nature will fit well within the friendly working environment.

Hydro-Vac Operator / Dump Truck Driver

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 drivers license (minimum two (2) years preferred)
  • Perform minor maintenance and day to day servicing of equipment
  • Drive, stage and operate unit as directed
  • Chain up when required
  • Willingness to get out of the unit and assist as required (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Complete pre and post trip inspections of unit in use
  • Complete paperwork for safety, payroll and any other day to day items required in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment/tools
  • Adhere to all company and customer safety policies and procedures
  • Drive on roads in all weather conditions
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions (extreme heat and cold)
  • Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers, and supervisors

Wage is dependent on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.78-$39.73 per hour
