Job Overview

Sushi Mura River District is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated servers to join our dynamic team. As a server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
• Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and food safety standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
• Assist in food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff as needed
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Provide guest services that promote a welcoming environment and encourage repeat visits

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; familiarity with restaurant operations is advantageous
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cashiering and billing tasks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Basic food handling and safety knowledge; experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
