This is a Part time position requiring Evenings and weekends

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong commitment to food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic food service environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional meals in a timely manner. Previous restaurant and kitchen experience is preferred, and a solid understanding of the food industry standards is essential. The Line Cook will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of meal preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
  • Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
  • Follow all health and safety protocols to uphold a safe working environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Excellent skills in meal preparation and food presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Good understanding of the food industry’s best practices for hygiene and safety
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
  • Flexibility to adapt to various kitchen tasks and responsibilities as needed
