Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales, and ensure the smooth operation of the retail environment. This role offers opportunities for growth in sales and merchandising, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for all customers. Bilingual skills and experience in technology sales or product demos are highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical sales support when needed
  • Maintain merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized presentation
  • Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales goals
  • Handle cashiering duties including processing payments accurately and managing cash registers
  • Assist customers with inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary
  • Support store organization through effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment at all times

Skills

  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate products clearly through demos or explanations
