Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll help customers find suitable products, provide attentive service, and support an organized, welcoming store. You’ll contribute to smooth daily operations by combining sales support, accurate transactions, and thoughtful product presentation.

Duties

  • Welcome customers, understand their needs, answer product questions, and support retail sales through clear, helpful communication.
  • Operate POS systems, process purchases, handle cash accurately, and assist with customer service in person and through e-commerce channels.
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays, restock products, and keep sales areas organized and ready for customers.
  • Where relevant to the store’s offerings, share knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance; communicate effectively with English-speaking and multilingual customers.

Your impact: Helpful guidance and accurate transactions make shopping easier for customers and support reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to support sales, cashiering, POS transactions, cash handling, and merchandising with care and accuracy. English communication is important for assisting customers and coordinating with colleagues.

Preferred: Retail sales or cashiering experience, multilingual communication, and familiarity with e-commerce or products related to gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance can help you serve a wider range of customer needs.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
