Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food industry while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and handling standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
  • Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and restaurant policies during food preparation and service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
