Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations at all times
  • Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience, including addressing special requests or concerns

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
