Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with restaurant standards
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and closing duties as needed
• Demonstrate hospitality skills by creating a welcoming environment for all guests

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant or food industry service roles preferred, especially serving or bartending experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Good time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a personable demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
