Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic seasonal Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean workspace will contribute to the overall success of our bar.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant space, in.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed.

Experience

  • Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is beneficial.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus but not mandatory.
