About Us:
Point No Point Resort is an oceanfront destination offering 25 private beach-front rental units perched high above the shoreline on 40 acres of rugged waterfront. Located on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island in Shirley, just 26 kilometers west of Sooke, our property is home to a renowned fine dining restaurant overlooking the ocean. Exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role:
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and service-driven Fine Dining Server to join our restaurant team in a part-time opportunity, 1-3 evenings per week dependent on candidate availability. Our restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday, offering a mix of weeknight and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a high-end dining environment, and takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, polished service in a fine dining setting
  • Guide guests through menu and wine selections with confidence and professionalism
  • Ensure accuracy and timing of food and beverage service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service

Compensation:

  • $21/hour plus gratuities

Requirements:

  • Previous serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Must have valid Serving It Right certification
  • Reliable transportation is required (no public transit in the area)
  • Availability for a mix of weekend and midweek shifts
