Full job description

Outlets Manager – Food & Beverage

Regina, Saskatchewan

The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Outlets Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of two busy hotel food and beverage outlets, a full-service restaurant and pub. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this is a hands-on, highly visible role leading the service team, working closely with the kitchen, connecting with guests and ensuring both outlets run smoothly.

This isn't a desk job. We're looking for someone with strong judgment and discernment, a leader who can read a situation, determine what needs attention, make a sound decision and adjust course when circumstances change.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead daily operations across the restaurant and pub, ensuring each shift is organized, appropriately staffed and ready to deliver excellent service.
  • Lead and develop the team through hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management and clear accountability.
  • Own the guest experience, maintaining high service standards and confidently resolving concerns when they arise.
  • Manage scheduling and labour, adjusting staffing to business volumes while balancing service and financial performance.
  • Partner closely with Culinary to maintain strong communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
  • Manage inventory and operating controls, including food & liquor ordering, inventory counts and monitoring expenses.
  • Support reservations, special events and high-volume periods, providing visible leadership on the floor when it matters most.
  • Look for ways to improve, assessing what's working and what isn't, identifying practical solutions and taking initiative to improve service, workflow and team effectiveness.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of progressive food and beverage experience, including leadership responsibility in a restaurant, pub, hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of front-of-house restaurant and bar operations.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop hourly service teams.
  • Experience with scheduling, labour management, inventory, ordering and operating controls.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly as business needs change.
  • A collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Experience with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Squirrel, Micros or similar; Squirrel experience is an asset.
  • Experience with workforce-management systems; UKG or similar experience is an asset.

Hotel experience is valuable, but strong restaurant or bar management experience is equally relevant.

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

  • You notice what needs to happen and act.
  • You don't simply identify problems, you think them through, determine the best path forward and take initiative. You know when to stay the course and when something needs to change.
  • You're equally comfortable coaching an employee, resolving a guest concern, collaborating with the kitchen and stepping onto the floor when service gets busy.
  • You build credibility with people, hold high standards and take pride in creating an environment where both guests and employees want to return.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time leadership position, generally 40 hours per week, with flexibility based on business volumes. Evening, weekend and holiday availability is required, particularly during high-volume periods and special events.
  • The role requires someone comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment where priorities can change quickly.

We thank all interested applicants. Please note that only those applicants who meet the qualifications and requirements will be contacted.
