Responsibilities

• Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food handling procedures to minimize waste and control costs.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff; conduct interviews and performance evaluations to build a strong team.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and proper food handling practices at all times.
• Oversee cash handling procedures using Micros POS systems and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold excellent customer service standards.
• Monitor kitchen workflow to optimize efficiency, reduce wait times, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Previous restaurant management experience including overseeing kitchen operations and staff scheduling.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
• Experience with food industry regulations, food handling certifications, and sanitation standards.
• Additional experience in bartending, barista roles, hotel hospitality or serving can be advantageous.
