Full job description

Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Server and Bartender, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, craft delicious drinks, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your multitasking abilities and attention to detail will keep the service smooth and efficient, making each visit enjoyable. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your food industry skills while working in a lively, customer-focused environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
  • Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, following standard recipes and safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, dining space, and kitchen stations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety by following proper food handling procedures during serving and preparation

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to engage guests effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
