Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and workstations by thoroughly washing and sanitizing throughout your shift
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support chefs and cooks
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by organizing supplies and managing dishware flow efficiently
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
• Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to keep the kitchen clean and environmentally responsible

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
