Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, create a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure food safety standards will contribute to memorable guest experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following all safety and quality standards.
  • Serve food items promptly and attentively, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food handling safety protocols.
  • Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and providing correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, bar, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hospitality background is a plus; previous experience in the food industry is highly valued.
