Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, cooking, and food service operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards
• Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff as needed
• Help with meal assembly, plating, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Follow proper food safety protocols at all times during food preparation and service
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as necessary
• Support team members in various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operation during busy hours

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
• Experience with serving customers or guests is a plus
• Familiarity with the food industry and meal preparation processes will help ensure success in this role

Pay: $15.95-$18.00 per hour
