Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, and support staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently across all menu items.
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using QSS POS, including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Coordinate with kitchen management to streamline food production, catering services, and special event setups like banquets.
  • Supervise customer service delivery to guarantee guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality or service standards.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team aligned with the restaurant’s values.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in food industry management with a strong background in restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or food service settings.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through shift management and team coordination.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, staff training & development, and food handling procedures.
