Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer care, and upselling within a vibrant dining setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, serving stations, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient table turnover
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations related to food industry standards

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling processes
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience is advantageous
  • Hospitality or food industry background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
