Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely meal service
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
  • Oversee food handling procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure proper food storage, inventory management, and waste reduction practices are followed
  • Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service expectations
  • Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization to uphold health regulations and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in supervising or leading a kitchen team is preferred
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve customers effectively
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and food industry standards
