Full job description

Line Cook duties and responsibilities :

  • Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
  • Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant’s menu
  • Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
  • Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
  • Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines

Line Cook skills and qualifications:

  • Professional and responsible conduct
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Teamwork skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills

25-40 hours a week

About Us:

True Hospitality is a boutique restaurant brand house. We own and/or operate four independent restaurants and is the franchisee of Shark Club Winnipeg. The four independent restaurants include Cibo Waterfront Cafe, Junction 59 Roadhouse, the James Avenue Pumphouse, and Bistro 330 in La Salle. We are always looking for opportunities to develop restaurants in all communities.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Culinary: 1 year (required)
  • cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
