What You'll Do

As a Cook at Waterford, you will:

  • Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Dining Services team to create an outstanding dining experience.
  • Take pride in providing excellent customer service while interacting with residents and families.
  • Help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere every day.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a professional kitchen (retirement, long-term care, restaurant, or hospitality experience is an asset).
  • Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong team-first approach.
