Welcome to C|Prime Modern Italian Steak & Wine, Vancouver’s go-to destination for an affordable yet luxurious steakhouse, wine, and some of the best Italian cuisine in Vancouver, BC. Located in the Century Plaza Hotel, our restaurant is the perfect choice for diners seeking a refined dining experience a partner, friends and family or coworkers.

We currently have an opening in our kitchen for a full time or part time dishwasher / food prep person for primarily evening shifts.

Daily Duties:

-Washing of all chinaware, glass ware, dishes, platters, basket, flat ware, cooking ware, kitchen utensils, Thermos containers, etc;

-Cleaning floor of the kitchen and all walk in refrigerators;

-General cleaning of the kitchen and contributing to general state of hygiene in kitchen as per Provincial standards;

-Communicating any failure or malfunction of washing, cleaning and sanitizing equipment to Chef de Partie, Sous-chef or Chef;

-Basic preparations, peeling, cutting and transformation of raw vegetables, fruits;

-Performs other duties as assigned and directed by Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

-Food Safe certificate;

-Previous dishwashing experience is an asset;

-Minimum 1 year working in a professional kitchen;

-Displaying a sense of ownership in work;

-Maintaining a professional conduct and etiquette;

-Good health, hygiene and safety habits;

-Personable and friendly;

-Must be eligible to work in Canada.

We offer an excellent benefits package for full-time employees after 6 months of continuous full-time employment.
